A pleasant walk to Middlebury town and college from this
handsome 1827 Federal home which has been completely updated and is a
licensed bed and breakfast. We have now combined two bedrooms to create
a private suite in a separate wing of the house with a separate, private entrance. Both rooms have queen
beds with very comfortable mattresses fitted with sun dried cotton
sheets. Due to Covid we are no longer serving breakfast but instead have
added a refrigerator, microwave and electric kettle.
Please
be aware the suite only provides a limited food preparation
area: refrigerator for keeping foods cold, a microwave for reheating, and an electric kettle and French press for making tea and coffee. If you were
hoping to cook your meals, this will not be suitable.
Guests are welcome to enjoy the extensive grounds, which slope down to the river where there is a canoe for guests to use. Please note, we are only accepting bookings by guests following the State of Vermont Covid-19 guidelines.

The Cottage
Overlooking the river, we also have a self-catering cottage with its own kitchenette, fireplace, WI-Fi, air-conditioning/heatpump and a private screened porch. There is a queen bed on the first floor and two singles on the upper floor.
On the Creek is well positioned for you to explore by foot, bicycle, boat, or automobile. And if you are here during the "chilly" season, add snowshoes, x-country and downhill skis.
